A positive thing that I’m going to do during the Semester Break are..

Travel or hiking. Broga Hill at Kuala Selangor is the best place that I choose to go. I choose this place because when I look in my friend’s pictures it is so beautiful scene when we see from the top of the hill. He said that by looking at the picture of scenery, we don’t have same feeling as the person who has been there. We can breathe the fresh air especially when we go in a right time which is dawn. Anyone can go there regardless of their gender, age, or races. This activity also can increase my stamina as athlete in micet. It’s use more energy to hike from the feet until the top of the hill.

The important thing that I’m going to do is study. This is the right time that can I use. Because when we start our lesson after holiday, we do not have much time to study or to do revision. Maybe lecturer will give us more exercise or work. Besides, I want to improve my English by going to my lecturer’s home. Huhu. (‘-‘) I think that when we meet lecturer personally to solve a problem, it will be more effective and we’ll be more understand.

Do you have another positive thing to do? You also can give an idea. okay.

Do you think we should give monetary incentive to the KP2 student to motivate them to get better grade?

University life as we all know is full of with happiness and sometimes sorrow. Some of us might pass every semester with flying colours while some would fall crying due to the fact that their result does not achieve the minimum criteria to pass the semester academic requirement. Take for example, at our campus, UniKL MiCET, the rate of students gaining KP1 and KP2 increasing every semester. Due to KP2, the students who are on loan with either MARA or PTPTN will lose their availability on their monthly allowance and most of all
their tuition fee.

Due to this fact, an idea struck through my mind. What will happen to this student if they don’t have money to pay their fee and to go through their days in MICET? That’s why from my point of opinion, we as human being, whom God created with the sense of sympathy, should help them by giving them some monetary incentive.

The question is how do we give them monetary incentive in a proper way that it looks fair to give them the incentive? After thinking for some time, one of the way we might give them properly is by giving them that incentive if they perform their quizzes, tests and assignment. For example, if they got full mark on the quiz, we can give for about RM 25 and id their perform in their exam with excel, we raise the amount of money. This for sure will raise their moral and spirit to study.

If we look it on a bright side, this KP2 student will certainly feel relieved and unburdened to fact that people still care for them. They will also have the sense of responsibility after that because as a human being, certainly they feel grateful and will do their best to score and perform in their examination. Thus, student with KP2 will decrease more and more.

Student must vote during the “Students’ Election” because…

Student must vote during the “Students’ Election” because…

Students have the right to choose who will be their representative to fight for student’s right in campus. Life in campus will have many scenarios. There will have student that not satisfied with their representative in doing their job. Student will criticize and talking about their unsatisfied. This scenario is normal in every ipta and ipts. So, besides just criticize and don’t get their responsibility for the election to make sure that it is worthwhile.

Besides that, this election has become a necessity for any organization or section, because this will determine the next fate for every member in that organization. This also can be as preparation for the student to have a democracy in the society which our country has practices democracy in politics since long time ago.

Great leaders are not born, they are made..

Yang Dipertuan Agong Sultan Mizan

I still remember my tagline of my secondary school, “moulding the world class leaders”. Actually, I don’t even care about the tagline of the school at that time because I don’t have any intention to be a leader. At that time I only care about my education without realizing that I may become a leader in the future. Maybe a leader of my family or leader of an organization or a leader of a party and maybe a leader of my nation, who knows?? Speaking about leader, what is leader actually?? According to the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 8th Edition, a leader is a person who leads a group of people, especially the head of a country, an organization. In a simple word, we can say that a leader is the head of a group of people. As example, the currenthighest leader of our nation is Yang DipertuanAgong Sultan Mizan. A father can also be called a leader to his family. As long as the person is the head of a group of people, it can be called a leader.

Tun Dr Mahathir Muhammad
Anyone can be a leader, but not all people can be a great leader. A person is not born to be a great leader, actually, they are made. There are many examples of great leaders, such as Muhammad Bin Abdullah a prophet and also a great leader that very well known in history of Islam that has a great leadership with great behaviours,as a result, he becomes an idol to many people, Sultan AlauddinRiayatSyah one of the Melaka’s great leader, Nelson Mandela a person that fight against racism, Mahatma Ghandi a person who fight for independence for India and Tun Dr Mahathir Muhammad our former Prime Minister that been called as The Father of Modernisation of Malaysia because of his contribution toward modernisations to the our country.

Mahatma Gandhi

If you are interviewingof the great leaders in this world by asking them “are you born to be a leader?? “, I think they will answer that they would never thought that they was born to be a great leader because it is not easy to become a great leader there must be something that made them to become a great leader. Most of the great leaders, they already have many experiences in leading a group of people since they were just a teenager. I think the vast experiences they have when leading a people that made them to become a great leader. Most of the great leaders have a vast of knowledge; with vast of knowledge they can lead a group of people to the right path. No one born to have vast of knowledge, this is because in order to have vast of knowledge you need to earn it such example by reading a book. So as the conclusion, great leaders are not born, they are made.

Human Trafficking

I'm interested to discuss about human trafficking. Because it involved an issue of humanity. Human trafficking is all about an illegal action that happen everywhere in anytime nowadays for the purpose of sexual exploitation or forced labour. The victims are always in the range of teenagers between 15 to 30 years old and sometimes it can be children also.

People should concern about this. I've watched one of an interview show that showing someone that very concern about this. I'm also proud that he was willig to sacrifice his money, and his energy to give some contribution for solving this problem. He is from California.

One day, he went to one of the country that famous with this illicit trafficking, Myanmar. He heard that there are some places that full with woman who have been sold and are force to be prostitute at that country. He went to one of that place and bought two women from them. He was trying to save the women. He sent them to their own places.

After 5 years, he went to Myanmar once again to meet them. He found that one of them has been married and has children but the other woman went to that prostitution place back because she addicted with drug. At the prostitution place, they provide them with drug. That is a strategy to make all the woman not to escaping theirselves because they don't have money to buy drug if they run away.

I'm so touched to watch that there is a brave and kind person who concern with this problem. I'm hoping that there will be more people who take action to think and try to help solving this problem.
